2021/2022 AURAK Alumni Club (AAC) Election

In accordance with AURAK Alumni Club Constitutionthe following five positions are open for election.

AURAK Alumni Club President Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attends and preside over all AAC meetings and events.
  • Ensures that the AAC operates within the framework of the Club.
  • Maintains regular communication with the Executive Board members and the general body.
  • Coordinates times and venues for AAC Board meetings.
  • Sets the agenda and act as Chairperson for all AAC meetings.
  • Encourages the Alumni to contact the AAC for their issues, concerns, suggestions and contributions.
  • Responds to communications in a professional and timely manner.
  • Has the right to represent and act on behalf of the Club.
  • Has the right to assign special tasks and duties to other members.

AURAK Alumni Club Vice President Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains regular communication with the President of the AAC, other AAC Board members and the Alumni general body.
  • Attends all AAC meetings and events.
  • Performs the duties of the President in case of his/her absence or removal from the Office.
  • Aids the President with his/her duties and responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President of the AAC.

AURAK Alumni Club Secretary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains regular communication with the President of the AAC, other AAC Board members and the Alumni general body.
  • Attends all AAC meetings and events.
  • Takes the minutes at all AAC meetings.
  • Keeps copies of all minutes, documents, and all other AAC records.
  • Aids the President with his/her duties and responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President of the AAC.
  • Shall be the keeper of the Club’s seal.
  • Shall be in charge of all the official communications of the AAC.

AURAK Alumni Club Treasurer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling the budgetary and financial issues regarding the AAC.
  • Maintains regular communication with the president of the AAC, other AAC Board Members and the Alumni general body.
  • Attends all AAC meetings and events.
  • Oversees the club’s records and financial reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President of the AAC.
  • Maintains the AAC account in the University’s Finance Department.
  • Has the power to allow access to the AAC account after the approval of the President of the AAC.
  • Keeps documentary records of all financial statements and receipts of AAC activities.

AURAK Alumni Club Public Relations Officer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains regular communication with the President of the AAC, other AAC Board members and the Alumni general body.
  • Attends all AAC meetings and events.
  • Shall be the official ambassador of the organization to work on strengthening the relationship between the AAC and other organizations after the approval of the President of the AAC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President of the AAC.

  • All AURAK alumni are eligible to submit nominations. Nominations must be received no later than 11:59 PM on Thursday, Sep 30, 2021.

  • To nominate alumni, including yourself, to serve on AURAK Alumni Club, submit a nomination via the following methods:
